NatWest Platinum. The Natwest Platinum Card boasts a 0 percent balance transfer for 16 months, not 12 like most cards. Customers who use this card also receive 3 percent cash back on purchases.
Sainsbury’s Nectar Credit Card. The Sainsbury’s Nectar Credit Card has a 12.9 interest rate and boasts a 0 percent balance transfer fee. Make sure to get the Nectar Credit Card, and not just the Sainsbury’s Credit Card. That interest rate is much higher.
Virgin. The Virgin Credit Card is good as a second card, with a 16 month 0 percent balance transfer period, and a 3 month 0 percent rate on purchases.
Barclaycard Gold. If you are planning to go all out this Christmas, you may want to take advantage of the Barclaycard Gold’s 0 percent rate on balance transfers until December 2011. Make sure you still want the card or pay it off after the promotional period, however. Normal rate is 19.9 percent.
Lloyds TSB Advance MasterCard Long BT. Lloyds TSB Advance MasterCard Long BT offers the top rate of 11.9 percent, but its other features are not as attractive. Only choose this card if you are not planning balance transfers or a whole lot of moving money.
